Join us on Tuesday evenings

image1The Chapel Hill Rotary Club is a mix of business, professional, and university leaders from surrounding areas with a strong history of service to the community.

Chartered in 1928 as a dinner club, we are the oldest club in the Chapel Hill area and the parent of the East Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise, and Hillsborough Rotary clubs.

We are part of Rotary International and have a tradition of producing leaders. Eminent past members include Luther Hodges, who was the Governor of North Carolina from 1954-1960.

Governor Luther Hodges served as president of Rotary International in 1967, the only North Carolinian ever to hold the title.

Club member James Peacock, Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, was the founder of the Rotary Peace Scholars Program at Carolina and Duke University.

Club member Ken Morgan is a past district governor and past member of the Rotary International Board of Directors.

The Chapel Hill Rotary Club meets every Tuesday from 6:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Country Club, 103 Lancaster Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

As of July 14, 2020, the Chapel Hill Rotary Club meets most Tuesdays at 5 PM by Zoom.

The club is currently accepting applications for new members.  Visitors are welcome – email for Zoom invitation.  Contact Art Menius at:  art@artmenius.com
